The TEK 1969 is a detergent, it is not a solvent, so unlike the IPA or other flammable solvents which do not dissolve the resin or dirt but detach them with help of a mechanical action type, shaking (eg. Magnetic stirrer), brush, ultrasonic bath, cheesecloth etc.
Solvent Not Dangerous for viscous liquid resins TEK1969
Methods of Use:
1. Ultrasonic cleaning (preferred method)
2. Magnetic stirrer
3. Manual by immersion in a container and shaken by hand until the resin will not be detached from the workpiece.
4. Buratto metal polishing
Method of use in ultrasonic:
a) Put the liquid in the vessel ultrasonic
b) Actuate the container 1 minute before performing cleaning operations
c) Insert the molded parts for at least 5 minutes in the container
d) Wash with demineralized water (for the transparent parts go directly to step next)
e) Blow dry the object with compressed air.
f) Remove the media if the object is sufficiently polymerized. (otherwise wait until after the post-polymerization)
Use Method in cheesecloth.
a) introduce the components inside the sifter including metal needles for polishing.
b) introducing the liquid, without diluting it.
d) starting the sieve for 20 minutes minimum
c) withdraw the pieces at the end of cycle
The liquid can be filtered with a cloth or with a TNT (nonwoven fabric), to add the new liquid when it will be necessary
TEK 1969 has a similar rate of evaporation water.
